Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Finding the right supervisor matters. I provide collaborative clinical supervision and consultation for Maryland clinicians who want more than just licensure hours. Together, we'll strengthen clinical skills, explore cases honestly, navigate ethical and professional challenges, and build confidence in your work. My approach is supportive, direct, practical, and grounded in the real-life experiences therapists face every day.

Clinical Supervision for LGPC and LGSW Clinicians

Supervision should be more than a requirement for licensureโ€”it should be a meaningful part of your professional development. As a Maryland Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, I provide supervision for LGPC and LGSW clinicians working toward independent licensure.

My supervision style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the realities of clinical practice. I strive to create a space where supervisees feel supported enough to be honest about challenges, while also being encouraged to grow, think critically, and build confidence in their clinical judgment.

Supervision is tailored to your level of experience, professional goals, and learning style. Together, we'll focus on developing both the clinical skills and professional identity needed to become a confident, ethical, and effective therapist.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic considerations

  • Ethical decision-making and professional standards

  • Documentation and record-keeping

  • Building therapeutic rapport and navigating difficult conversations

  • Evidence-based interventions

  • Professional boundaries and therapist self-awareness

  • Developing confidence in clinical judgment and decision-making

  • Preparing for independent licensure and professional growth

I believe supervision works best when there is room for honest discussion, curiosity, and collaboration. My goal is to help clinicians strengthen their skills, deepen their understanding of the therapeutic process, and feel more confident in the work they do every day.

All supervision sessions are conducted virtually for clinicians throughout Maryland.

Clinical Consultation for Therapists

Being a therapist can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be isolating. Even experienced clinicians encounter cases that benefit from another perspective, a space to process clinical challenges, or support navigating ethical and professional questions. Clinical consultation provides an opportunity to step back, think critically about your work, and gain insight that enhances both your confidence and effectiveness as a clinician.

I offer consultation for licensed therapists seeking collaborative support, clinical insight, and practical guidance. Whether you're working through a particularly complex case, looking to strengthen your understanding of a specific population or treatment approach, or simply wanting a trusted colleague to consult with, consultation can help you feel more grounded and supported in your work.

Consultation may focus on:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families

  • Clinical decision-making and ethical considerations

  • Managing high-acuity or high-risk presentations

  • Documentation and best practices

  • Navigating private practice questions and professional development

  • Therapist self-awareness and countertransference

  • Building confidence and reducing feelings of clinical uncertainty

My consultation style is collaborative, direct, practical, and judgment-free. The goal is not to evaluate your work, but to provide support, fresh perspective, and real-world strategies that help you feel more confident and effective in the therapy room.

Consultation sessions are available virtually and may be scheduled as one-time meetings or on an ongoing basis.

Supervisory Training and Standards

My supervision training was completed through the Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors Association (LCPCM), and I maintain my status as a Maryland Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am committed to providing supervision that is ethical, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with the standards established by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.

Supervision is conducted in accordance with Maryland regulations governing clinical supervision, licensure requirements, documentation, and professional practice. My goal is to support clinicians not only in meeting licensure requirements, but also in developing the knowledge, skills, ethical foundation, and professional confidence necessary for long-term success in the counseling profession.
